Maternity & postpartum comfort

Bump & Bolster

Bump & Bolster is an independent review site covering maternity and postpartum comfort, published by Selena Hann. It is organized around how much of each item is genuinely needed, because over-buying is the common mistake here. Funding comes from affiliate commissions, disclosed on the page. The site has not launched.

About Bump & Bolster

Coverage spans the weeks either side of a birth: pregnancy sleep and support, the bag that actually goes to hospital, and recovery at home. The reader is frequently shopping under time pressure with a registry full of suggestions and no way to tell which are essentials and which are retail enthusiasm. Partners and family buying gifts are a second audience, and they need the same filter applied for them.

Two things make this hard. The first is quantity — the most-searched questions in this category are about how many of something to buy and how to use it, not which brand is best, and almost nothing on a product page answers that. The second is that hospitals supply a meaningful amount of what registries sell, and what they supply varies by hospital, so a generic checklist reliably causes waste. Guidance here leads with whether an item is needed at all, then how many, and only then which one.

Selena Hann publishes the site. It is funded by affiliate commissions, stated plainly on the pages that carry them. Nothing on the site is medical advice and it never substitutes for a midwife, doctor or lactation consultant — where a decision is clinical, the page says so and points there instead. Products handled directly are described as such; otherwise the basis for a recommendation is named outright. No brand buys a place on a list.

Bump & Bolster is published by Selena Hann, who also publishes the other 9 sites listed on this portfolio. It is funded by affiliate commissions on some of the products it recommends, and nothing else — no paid placements, no sponsored rankings.

The editorial standards it operates under, including where hands-on testing happens and where it does not, are on the about page. If you are an affiliate network, a brand, or a reader checking who is behind this, email contact@juniperreviews.com.
